
I love having rolled oats in the morning with a nice cup of green tea. This is my vanilla almond rolled oat concoction. What I love about rolled oats is that they not only fill you up, they help prove so much energy in the morning and there are numerous ways to serve them! You have endless possibilities.
This is simply 1/2 cup of trader joe’s rolled oats with 1/2 tbsp chia seeds, 1/4 cup silvered blanched almonds, 3 tsp light brown sugar and I added a single scoop of my trader joe’s vanilla protein powder today. Little higher in calories for something quick, but healthy and it fills you up all day. 413 calories and 20 grams of protein in one serving.
