This is the blog of a once athletic and now overweight girl trudging through the trenches to regain her health, endurance and overall fitness. Having already lost over 120 lbs, I hope to encourage others, not only with the things I have learned through my mental and physical journey, but also inspire and provide tips toward conquering your own mountain and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Did a little kickboxing at the park with my boyfriend. So happy that I have someone in my life who cares about me and I don’t feel so scared to work out in front of like my ex-husband. He loves me for me and is proud of what I have done to help fix my body. It is also nice having someone who is willing to workout with me. Feels wonderful. ♥
It seems like the support of your family is critical to success for so many people. I wish I had that support. You’ve done an amazing job and you’re motivating me to look for those supportive people!
