Push Through!
It was one of those nights.  We all know the ones, the night where you tell yourself you will workout in 10 min…15 min…an hour and it feels as though it never feels like the right time to just get up and start.  That was my night at first.  After a while I decided I was just not going to do it and take my shower instead, but as I was leaving the room, I glanced back and looked at my...

News & Updates
It has been a little while, so I figured I might as well check to make sure those of you who asked received your Shakeology samples.  If you haven’t, please let me know.  I also have a few extra left of the vegan tropical strawberry and the normal chocolate if anyone else would like a sample before I run out. Also, I have a detox I am planning on starting here soon if anyone is interested...

Workout
Today I did my new HIIT workout (located here) again and ended up finishing 10 minutes faster then my last attempt!  I am super stocked with this.  So glad to be healthy again and on the road to getting fit once more.  Don’t you just hate being sick when you want nothing more than to keep working toward your fitness goals?

Fitblr frustration →
I think the most important thing is to keep going and allow yourself to let go of your guilt.  We all slip up from time to time.  Sometimes it is big, sometimes it is small, but if you allow yourself to be negative and upset about a day when your willpower slipped you end up doing yourself a disservice.  I find the best way to tackle problems like this is to keep going and not allow it to bother...

Weekend Coming to an End
Hello Monday!  I ate really bad this weekend.  Definitely a first in a long time for me.  Hadn’t worked out other than simply walking as well, so this is something I need to start again first thing today.  Back to my power house workouts, bad to keeping better track of my eating.  I don’t usually allow myself to let the healthy eating fall by the wayside, but we all can get off track...

and-that-is-when-she-died asked: I just found your blog and shot all the way to beginning and started from there. I can say that I really like your personality and way at looking at the whole weight loss/lifestyle change. Then, I ran into a post about 'shakeology'--the post read: I am so happy. It has officially been six months since I started shakeology. Lost nearly 150lbs since. Feels great!--and I was just...

Life
We all come to a moment in our lives when we need to evaluate the road we are on and sometimes make a decision to better ourselves and our lives to be happy.  When you find that one path that you can find no fault in, you know you’ve chosen the right road.

Workout
Just did the challenge Zuzana put up yesterday (finally) and I am surprised by my time. 10 min and 45 seconds for all 50 reps. Took a break between the first two sets of 15 and hammered out 20 the last set. Needless to say, my butt and calves are screaming. Now time for some P90x chest & back action and if I am not overly exhausted (since I have had an abundance of energy for some reason...

Absence
Sorry for the lack of posts today, been feeling a little light headed and ill.  Didn’t end up working out tonight due to the dizziness, but tomorrow is a new day!  I will be out working at Panera or a coffee shop of some sort all day tomorrow, so I will be getting a few blogs done as well as answering the millions of lovely messages you have all sent me.  Thanks again for all the wonderful...

Grocery Shopping
For those of you who asked for my healthy grocery list post again, here it is! Look for the organic plant based foods as the main bulk of your diet.  I’m personally 100% vegan about 80% of the time (what can I say, I LOVE cheese!).  ‘Everyone I know who subscribes to this ratio has more natural energy and feels better than people who eat too much meat and dairy. They perform better, feel better,...

Insanity Day 2-3
Despite feeling slightly off this morning, I still pushed play today and I am happy with the outcome!  Yesterday was overly busy so I ended up merging days 2 and 3 into a single day, but it worked just fine, since it was cardio power and resistance along with cardio recovery, so it didn’t kill me. For once I did almost ALL of the power jumps, did more tricep dips and V-ups than normal. ...

Support & Love
Seriously, I have no idea what to say.  You are all amazing, beautiful, kind individuals.  I am beyond grateful to be part of such a wonderful, loving community of people.  I have no once received a mean ask from anyone.  Despite my dislike and embarrassment when looking at before photos, not one person has ever been rude or mean to me. I am thankful to have so many amazing followers like you. ...

Second time around - Insanity Day 1
Plyometric Cardio Circuit in the books! I am proud I still did it despite heat stroke earlier. Definitely not my best though, since I am still a little faint. I took it a bit easier. I normally can do everything, but due to still feeling weak and slightly ill, I didn’t do more than about 10 power jumps per round, I did very few of the basketball jumps and the 1-2-3’s I just...

Heat Stroke
Wow.  Well, good and bad news.  Good news?  I ran nearly half of the 5k at nearly an 10 min mile and that beat my old time by nearly 3-4 minutes!  So proud!  Bad news?  Near the end, the 103 heat index killed me.  Started hallucinating, feeling weak knees and dizzy and unfortunately, Sharon Woods 5k trail, there are no real points to get back to the start until you are finished, so I had no choice...
