Tailoring Workouts to your day

Just hopping on to let you all know, my posts are going to be sporadic at best the next few days. The storms that hit Ohio and the east coast got us pretty bad. New Schedule
So, after much debate, I decided, while I want to do Insanity, doing weights along with it will maximize my efforts and fat burning, so I am currently re-working my workout schedule to use Insanity every other day (four days a week) and weights the other three days. Progress

Never Give Up Just Because You Had One Bad Day
After being away from Insanity for a month, day 2 was AWFUL. Wanted to stop before I began. Definitely not my best, had to stop a lot out of breath, but I kept going despite my mind and body screaming “NO MORE.” Happy and proud I finished the day despite hating every minute. However, not I feel amazing. Funny how that works.

So…I caved. I missed Insanity (as “insane” that is to say). Surprisingly, after a month of lower impact workouts and no Insanity, my fit test numbers went down a little, but they were not as bad as I thought they would be.

Work & Run?
I was helping place fliers for my boyfriend’s business today and decided, it was a wonderful day for a run! It was definitely interesting. I would run from mailbox to mailbox. Did 2.25 miles in around 30 min. Not bad for stopping and starting! Some of the mailboxes took a while due to being really tight fits for extra mail on the sides.

Inches Lost

CLEAN Eating
When you are planning to do a very intensive workout program, I suggest cleaning up your eating habits. Outdoors
Take some time out for yourself. Smell the fresh air, the wind blowing through your hair…take a nice long run or walk outside. It is so much more rewarding than a treadmill. The constant change of scenery can be invigorating and energizing. It is nice feeling the breeze on your face and actually seeing the distance you’ve gone in a more physical sense.

Binge/Cheat Days
Weight lose really depends on many factors. How you are working out, how often, but most importantly, what you are eating, putting into your body and when.
